I’ve mentioned before that I rarely blog on Mondays. It’s just entirely too busy of a day. And I don’t blog on weekends because, well, that’s family time. That’s THREE WHOLE DAYS of not blogging. Like… half a week. And I said to myself, “Self? This is not right. You are depriving these people.”

And I answered back, “Not hardly.”

But then I realized there are certain people that I am depriving through my blog. This blog used to be the medium through which our extended family saw our children grow. And here I’ve gone and turned it into some kind of … natural… frugal… recipe… thing.

So I here-by declare every Monday to be Meet-and-Greet-Monday. I will post a simple picture (if I can narrow down the thousands of choices to one, indeed) to prove to you that my family IS the most beautiful, intelligent, gifted, funny group of people you’ve ever seen assembled. And the beauty of it all: the writing of said post will be minimal. Brainless. Just the way I likes it.

And I would LOVE to meet your family, too!

However, I know some of you are wary of posting pictures of your children on the web.

I know, predators and all.

But here’s the way I see it: As long as they’re decently dressed (and I must admit, mine go about in diapers for a large part of the day), what is the difference between someone seeing them online or seeing them at the mall?

So if you want to play along, please do! If not, I’ll understand. If you think I’m making a grave mistake, tell me about it. Maybe I’m not seeing the whole picture.

But in the meantime, here’s Benjamin, all chummy with his good friend, Michael.
