I wake up before the sun. I put in a load of laundry. I hop in the shower as soon as the washer is done filling. By the time I’m done drying my hair, the laundry is ready to be hung on the line.

Olivia wakes up (it’s around 9:00 by now) and I change her, dress her, feed her, and do her hair.

Benjamin wakes up. I change him, dress him, feed him.

Olivia needs a diaper change.

It’s 10:00 at least by now.

I grab the shopping list I had printed out last night, the big blue cooler, the library movies, the water jugs, the diaper bags, the pay check, the garbage, and the children.

Benjamin needs a diaper change.

It’s 10:30.

We head out.

First to the bank. Then Aldis (where Olivia feasts on crackers). Then the library (where nurse Benjamin). Then CVS (where I change Olivia). Then Walgreen’s (where I nurse Benjamin). Then Kroger’s (where I change Benjamin).

It’s 2:30 pm.

I arrive home. I unload the car.

It’s 3:00.

I put the cold groceries away.

It’s 3:30.

I change Olivia and put her down.

I change Benjamin and put him down.

It’s 4:30.

I put the pantry groceries away.

It’s 5:00

I start supper.

Josh comes home at 6:15

After supper, the kitchen looks like this:

My husband (a true gift from God) does the dishes.

I am on the couch with my feet up, watching I Love Lucy, and nursing a baby.
