Okay. You guys totally oudid me last week. So I came prepared this time. Behold:

Have I mentioned that Benjamin is officially mobile? And this is his favorite go-to place. He’s like our little puppy, eating Olivia’s crumbs. Unfortunately, he doesn’t quite know what to do with the crumbs once he gets them into his mouth.

Yep. Mobile. And looking for any-and-every-way to hurt himself.

A.Dor.A.Ble. If I do say so myself.

Olivia has become quite the little chef. I cannot get out a mixing bowl without her pulling up her chair to help. All because she knows it will end with the licking of some sweet, batter-laden object.

Oh, and funny story about the flour on the counter. We spilled sugar on the counter. She tentatively licked some off her finger and decided it was Good. Then, we spilled flour. She went to lick some off her finger, but I intervened with a dire warning: “Flour is not sweet like sugar. It will not taste good.” So she looked me full in the face, deliberately put her flour-covered finger in her mouth, and without blinking, declared it the Yummiest Thing Ever with a very enthusiastic “Mmmmmm!!!” Well. That’ll teach me!

This is Olivia – Lord of the Flies. I just wish I would have known to put pants on her. Why doesn’t she warn me before acting all cute like this?!

Okay, one last picture. And I know these have been unbalanced on the Benjamin side, but some weeks are full of Olivia, and some are full of Benjamin. Next Monday will be full of Olivia because we went to the PUMPKIN PATCH and we held BABY CHICKS and we pet GOATS and BUNNIES and Benjamin wasn’t really into all that.

Here’s the B-Man in his Cowmooflage carseat. What a stud. By the way, we are loving this seat. Very comfy, very sturdy, very easy to use. It’s got all the extras I never knew we needed (velcro keeping the straps open for easy baby-placement, cushions on the shoulder straps so it does not cut into his neck when we tighten or loosen them, and more). The only thing missing is a cup holder.

Okay, your turn. Let’s meet-and-greet ’em!
