I am very new to cloth diapering and am trying many different diapers. My daughter is 2 1/2 and weighs around 26 pounds. I am only using diapers at nap and bedtime. I was very glad to see the gapping in your pictures because I thought I was just too new to get it right. Have you had any success at resolving this issue? I really like many of the other features of this diaper and really want to love it! So far it was used at night one time with no leaking...we will see what happens this evening!

I've been using FB OS for about 2 mo. I have the same issue with the gap at the leg-hole. I have tried so many different sizing combinations and cannot get rid of the gap either. Because of the gap the diapers leak when my DD takes a nap. Her onesie is alway soaked. I thought it was the detergent at first but have tried many kinds and have striped the diapers and still have this problem. I really wanted to like theses diapers, but we only use them during the day at home when I can change her often and never at night or during a nap. If anyone has a suggestion to fix this problem please let us know.

"The leg elastic pulls at the button at the top of the diaper, making the PUL gather (see the first of my pictures). This creates a gap at the leg-hole where you really do prefer the diaper to be flush with the baby’s skin."

I have the same issue with the FB OS I bought to test whether it works for my baby. I noticed that the wing effect only comes on the other side, where the button is positioned slightly differently than on the side that is ok. Surprisingly, the diaper hasn't leaked due to this yet. Then again, I've only used the diaper a few times on my baby.

So you're not the only one with this issue!

Due to this, I may instead get more Bumgenius one-sizes that so far have been a trim fit. The only worry I have with them is the velcro that at least in the older versions got horrible. Let's see how the new version holds up.

Also, I was looking at the fit, and maybe it just doesn't work well for smaller babies or before they chunk up? We've always had a more snug fit with no fleece showing.

I want to add that we have issues with almost all of our diapers getting clothes wet around the leg- especially if Caylee is wearing a onesie or elastic around her legs.

I do wonder how you will like this diaper when Levi gets bigger. (if you still have them)

We have one FuzzyBunz OS and like it. Johnny was already at least 18 lbs. by the time he wore it, so I can't say how it works for smaller babies.

He will undo the velcro on diapers if he's not wearing pants, so I love my snapping diapers for this reason!

It seems a little more versatile in terms of fit than our BumGenius and I am only speculating, but it seems like we'll get longer use out of this diaper than our BG.
