As my warranty on my laptop was almost up, I decided last Monday was as good a time as any to send my malfunctioning HP Pavilion in, hoping it would come back with working speakers.

I figured I’d be without my computer during the day, but would be able to check the Facebook stats and write my blogs at night when Josh brought his laptop home.

Wrong.

That same week that I cut myself off from my online community (HI! HI! I’VE MISSED YOU!), my husband went MIA. More days than not, he came home after 9pm. Including Saturday. He even went in on Sunday, after church and a walk in the park, not to return until 2:30am.

I have learned that I *can* give all three children a bath all by myself. Just not at the same time.

And also that Levi has just about outgrown the kitchen sink. It’s cute to see the basin all filled up with baby chub.

No, I didn’t take pictures. I was too busy holding the baby head above the water.

My lappy came home to me today. It was good to be away, perhaps especially because of all the extra time I needed to spend with the children this week. But it is also good to be back. And now I must relearn the balance that is SAHM v. SAHFA (Stay At Home Facebook Addict).

And, at some point, I’ll need to tackle the Google Reader. I haven’t even looked yet. I don’t really want to.

I’ve got some posts swirling around in my head with the theme of “Just a Thought”. Lots of random thoughts that aren’t too researched (like the “What I Believe” series) but are still worthy of sharing. So look for that. K? K.

If you haven’t already read about Revolution Money Exchange, let me fill you in. It’s prety much going to replace paypal. Or at least be good competition for it. Because Monopoly is only good on Saturday nights with popcorn and good friends, not in businesses.

It’s a way to receive and send money. Just… like… Paypal. If you’d like more information on the security and such, read here.

But really, the only information you need right now (besides the fact that yes, it is secure), is that you get twenty-five dollars to use however you wish when you sign up. You can even simply transfer the $25 to your bank account and use it to pay bills.

(And I get $10. To use to pay bills. Or whatever.)

So click right here. Or here. Or even here. Or if you prefer, you may use the nifty green button above. There’s something satisfying about clicking buttons. So have at it. And earn yourself $25 just for filling out a form.

Edited to add: I recently found out Revolution Money Exchange will sell your information unless you fill out this form. This is how they are able to work for free, as opposed to PayPal. (Thanks, Donielle!)

You may have heard that one of the positive side effects of pregnancy is that gorgeous, thick, full head of hair. Well, it’s a positive if you are normally of the limp-haired variety, anyway. Then you simply adore that the pregnant scalp tends to jealously retain every fiber, leading to all-out lovely locks.

Then, about three months post-partum, those fabulous filaments start appearing on your sweater. And in dinner. And in diapers. And on that one spot on your back you just can’t reach. And don’t even get me started on the drain.

Not only is your marvelous mane now diminishing at an alarming rate, but you can no longer set your infant on the carpet without first administering some sort of hairball preventative medication.

Your shower time lengthens as shampooing consumes most of your morning simply in vain effort of finding an end to the squandering of your sensational strands.

You eventually give up, and it’s good that you do. Because as soon as you pick up that brush, whatever remains of your tantalizing tresses leaps so willingly from your thatch to those bristles that you might get a little suspicious.

And suddenly, you start to sympathize with Britney Spears.

So that’s why she did it.

So I just wrote “Pray for Josh” on the back of my hand. Yeah, his QE is today. And I didn’t want to forget to lift him up today in his time of need. Because taking a baby and a toddler to the library and then the park usually occupies most of my mental capacities. And thus I forget things.

So I wrote a note on my hand. High school style.

Only it was harder. And not very legible. Because my skin wiggled.

Was my skin this loose in high school?!

Just another Oh-My-Goodness-I’m-All-Grown-Up moment.
