Here are two gems for you. I wish I could remember more. I love the words that come out of my three-year-old’s mouth.

———————————-

Levi thought Benjamin had a fruit snack in his hand and tried to open it. To which Benjamin responded: “I don’t have anything. I only have blood inside my skin. That is all.”

———————————-

This morning, I told Benjamin that he had to eat his oatmeal so he could grow. He then started studying his fingers and suddenly exclaimed, “Oh! This one has been growing!! Look, see the others are short, but not this one!” He was pointing to his middle finger. I tried to explain that everyone’s middle finger was longer than their other fingers, but he maintained that it was because he ate his oatmeal.
