You are too funny! I didn't realize a baby could be like that from birth! My 2yo boy is rough and tumble, but was SUCH a cuddler when he was an infant. My second born however is a real brute (hair-pulling, skin-pinching, fists that like to whack) and in spite of my understanding that he is trying his best to be gentle it just isn't in his nature like my first and I find myself retreating to the safety of the sofa where I can see the onslaught coming and prepare a defense. It's funny how it was different for us. You learned to lay on the floor and enjoy your kids, I learned to sit up to see a kick coming. I used to lay on the floor all the time with my first born.
