We held 'Legos for the Lord' contests, at school but they built them at home. Kids had to build a bible story out of them and tell the story with them. My son, built Sampson's temple that he knocked down, very detailed. One of the kids did a chaper from the Book of Revelation, death, destruction, legos with no heads, quite graphic. Then of course, and Adam and Eve with all the palm trees and animals. It was fun and creative.

Not in this particular instance, no. In the past, yes. This time, I was busy making dinner. He had actually dragged (drug?) all the Legos into the kitchen and attempted to build a house in the middle of the floor.
I had called for Olivia to come in and help him, but she wasn’t in a Lego mood at that time.
So, not needing the extra stress of the yelling and banging at that time, in that place, I chose to make it a teachable moment on anger management.

He was getting very angry with the Legos. He was attempting to beat them into submission. They, however, were very stubborn and yet still refused to form the house he wanted them to.

T’would have been their demise, had I not stepped in.
