We've cut out the dryer, the fast food, and just about every single purchase that is anything other than 100% necessary. My best defense, though, is good planning. Good budgeting, shopping the flyers, planning to use up all the food in the fridge before it can go bad, etc. If only I weren't subsisting on too-little sleep and surrounded by needy babies! I hear ya. We’ve cut out the dryer, the fast food, and just about every single purchase that is anything other than 100% necessary.

Remind us how to do it when you figure it out. :) We've declared this a no spend month(meaning nothing other than needs), I am amazed we've made it this long already. (one week!) we have bought groceries, and today I had to buy shaving cream for Eugene. he's got sensitive skin and is picky about it. but I think $2.30 in the past 9 days is good! We’re with you.
