It’s not completely abnormal that my nineteen-month-old likes to sit in rubbermaid containers… is it?

I disagree, on an aesthetic level, with the raking of leaves. This is why:

I tried to set up my own photo shoot, with that oak tree in the background. She thought it was fun to run from the photo prop.

Benjamin was a good sport, though.

Not to be outdone by her little brother, Olivia consented. And gave me my current favorite picture that holds BOTH my kids. Note the look on Benjamin’s face. So typical of a little brother being hugged by his older sister:

Hey, look, I was there, too.

We also had some fun on the neighbor’s slide.

Oh, and take a look at those shoes. She put them on herself, can you tell? I tried to correct her, but her exact words were “I like them this way.”

And then, after all that, Josh went out and bought a rake. *Sigh*
