Meet-and-Greet

We had company this weekend!  Meet Ashley from twentysixcats:

We had fun taking pictures with our fancy schmancy d-slr’s:

They could only stay a short while, though, and then it was off to the pumpkin patch! We love our pumpkin patches. They hold a special place in our hearts.

Where is this Great Pumpkin…?

Olivia had just woken up and was in a bit of a sulky I-don’t-want-to-look-at-the-camera mood.

And then home to carve it:

Next, scoop out the slimy innards.

It’s up to Daddy to handle the sharp objects, though:

Or not.

WHO TAUGHT HIM THAT?

Finished pumpkin:

For the full effect:

And what visit to the pumpkin patch would be complete without one of these:

(If you don’t understand the significance of that remark, go back and read this post.)

Right. Thanks for reminding me Joanna. Mr. Linky as follows:

  1. O.K., so the pumpkins pics are pretty cool, and you’re kids are uber cute, but……CONGRATULATIONS!! I’ll be praying everything goes well for you.

  2. This is such a tradition, Beth, it’s kind of spooky- the pumpkin-patch-then-pregnancy-test day you guys have every other year. See my previous congratulations.

I’ll have my Meet & Greet up later today, including pictures of your children and visitors. Might want to add a Mr Linky :-P

  4. Oh, congratulations! That is such exciting news. I was thinking of you this weekend.

By the way, I wish my pregnancy test had said “Pregnant” instead of having a little + on it. Maybe my husband would have figured out what was going on faster! Oh well, it was a first. By the time we’re on number 3, he’ll know what pluses and double lines mean!

    God bless! Enjoy your pumpkins!

  20. How neat. Did ya put the test in the pumpkin to tell your husband?

Congratulations :o ) Three will be alot different from 2, but actually much easier. You’ll already know how to do everything!
