Even so that he deemed it appropriate to bless me with MY VERY FAVORITE COMFORT FOOD in the midst of a THERE’S-NOTHING-IN-THE-HOUSE-I-WANT-TO-EAT drought.
Observe what I was able to obtain for a grand total of NEGATIVE $1.10 at my CVS run tonight:
Ignore the Kashi cereal and diabetes testing kit. Please focus on the SIX BAGS of GUMMY LIFESAVERS.
But if you do know a good place to donate a diabetes testing kit, kindly do let me know.
Although, after SIX BAGS of GUMMY LIFESAVERS, I might need it after all…
Er, make that five bags…
Way to go! Awhile back, I donated a diabetes testing kit to a crisis pregnancy center so women could test for gestational diabetes.
Maybe you could send it to a place like that?
Hey Beth:
I bet a seniors drop in centre or an inner city mission would appreciate it – they both have clients that are apt to have diabetes and be unable to afford a glucometer.
Wow…um, HOW? that is so cool!
I think the pregnancy center or senior centr ris a good idea. Or maybe even a local midwife. I know my midwife had a glucometer to use for testing for GD and to lend out to patients.
Totally off topic- I was wondering if you’re having a recipe swap tomorrow?
