Two days ago, at dinner, Benjamin folded his hands for the first time during prayer.

Two days prior to that, Olivia uttered her first prayer before serving us a good heapin’ helpin’ of plastic fruit and vegetables.
Her prayer went something like this: “..uuuhhh.. Jesus… uhhh… Amen!”
::sniff::
Please, God, let me
Train [them] in the way [they] should go,
and when [they] are old [they] will not turn from it.
Uhhh… Jesus… uhhhh… Amen!

When our fam prays at dinner, our 17 month old reaches for our hands; so cute!

Lexi has been holding our hands for prayer at meals since she was about Benjamin’s age. when we say “let’s pray” she grabs our fingers and bows her head. She also says “AMEN” and we’ve even heard her sing it. Like after the Doxology song. The thing is that she’s never heard anyone sing that. So I don’t know where she got it from. he he.
