(Because I love alliteration.)

I think it might be generally unknown around here that I’m in a kind of leadership position at my local MOPs.  I’m a discussion leader.  When asked if I was interested in the position, I said, “Why sure!  I do love discussions!”

And it’s been fun.  And easy.

We talk about our children.  And our marriages.  And potty training.  And the like.  It’s very enjoyable just to talk to other adults.  And the fact that they are also in the same place in their lives that I am in mine?  Very easy to talk to.

But it’s about to get a little harder.

MOPs is also a Christian organization, even though it is intended for anyone and everyone.  (Isn’t that what Christianity is all about?).  And for our Easter meeting, we (the discussion leaders) will be sharing a “five minute faith story.”

I’m not entirely sure what that means.  I’m sure they explained it to me.  And they were probably quite detailed about it, too.  But I can be a bit distracted.  Especially ever since I had kids.

So it’s a good thing we’re practicing this tomorrow.

Yep, us we discussion leaders will be getting together tomorrow to practice sharing our “five minute faith stories.”  And I’m feeling a bit like I did in college the day before an assignement was due.  Only, back then I’d start feeling this way at about 2 a.m.

So I’m doing pretty good.  But anyway, I thought I’d bang it out here on the blog.  And I was wondering, would you like to bang out a “five minute faith story”, too?

Until told otherwise, I’m assuming that a “five minute faith story” is a miniature testimony.  I plan on writing about how God grabbed me and put me exactly where He wanted me during a rather jumbled adolescence.

So I’ll write it tonight and publish it tomorrow, along with a Mr. Linky for those of you who want to participate.

Play!  Come on, do it for the alliteration, if nothing else.
