It might have been a CRT (a coupon that came at the end of the receipt of a previous order) for SoyJoys. I used a lot of those.

Then I got home and realized that I had mistakenly purchased a COLGATE tongue-cleaning toothbrush instead of a second CVS tongue cleaning toothbrush. I went back on a later date to exchange it and ended up with this:

CVS brand tongue-cleaning toothbrush @ 2.99
Absolutely Divine (CVS brand) chocolate filled wafers… yum @ 2.99 (Was supposed to be 50% off because of current promotion, but didn’t ring up that way. I didn’t go back and complain. Skip to the end to see how much I made and you’ll see why I let this one go.)

THAT’S ALMOST $50, PEOPLE!
Seriously. It was a good week.
And I got cookies and candy bars. Which was good. It was a chocolate-kind-of-a-week.
Great work! I got one of those Bic lighters too and I really like it! That was a good sale price on those! Enjoy your EARNINGS!!!
WOW… really great savings… of course chocolate makes it so much sweeter!
Great Job!! Isn’t this sooooo much fun!!
Great deal! The toothbrush deal is a monthly ECB deal so it didn’t qualify for the B1G150% CVS brand deal. I found out the hard way too. Also if there is a deal where you have to buy a certain # of items (like the Reeses) you don’t have to buy them all at the same time-you can split it as long as it is in the time period specified (week or month). Look at the bottom of your receipt and it will tell you how much more you need to complete the deal.
Beth,
I humbly bow at your feet. You madame, rank right up there with thee Crystal. Y’all know who I’m talkin’ about!
I’m fixin’ to go and do mine right now and I’m afraid it ain’t gonna be pretty. I must have some defective gene that does not allow me to see what everyone else sees. Sigh. It’s a math thing, I just know it. I failed geometry 2nd semester of 11th grade and now I can’t do the whole CVS game. I should’ve tried harder.
Wow, that is amazing! I reeeally want a CVS so I can take part in the fun! Walgreen’s isn’t nearly as good, but I’ll settle for now!
In case I ever get one, I want to understand – how can you use all these at once?
Coupons: $5/30, $5/30, $4/20, $4/20, $3/15, $3/15, $2/10, $2/10, $4/20
Thanks for any help!
you have to get lucky in order for CVS to take all those coupons at once. If you make a $50 purchase then all the coupons will scan fine at the register if the cashier is willing to scan them. If you get an employee who doesn’t care/doesn’t know then he will scan them all for you. However, if you get a manager or a zealous CVS employee they will only take one (the $10 off 50 coupon).
I have had three different CVS managers at three different stores tell me the same thing. If you want to use both the $4/20 and $3/15 then you will have to spend $35 total because they are built on top of each other.
