Just a little over a month ago, we had to replace a broken Veggie Tales.

Two weekends we went home for a friend’s wedding. We went well-stocked with Veggie Tales from the library. We left one in Grandma’s DVD player. But it’s okay. She mailed it to us. It’s just slightly under two weeks late.

Today, Olivia was enacting one of those Suspicious Toddler Silence Times (STSTs). I went to investigate. She was bent over the coffee table concentrating hard on her work.

Which was coloring the cover of the library DVD case. With crayons.

“Ohhhhh no! We don’t do that, Olivia! That is not ours! We only color our thi… our coloring books!”

“Ohhhh. Bye-bye.” And she turns the DVD case over. The crayon markings no longer visible, she had clearly just solved the problem.

So obviously, the only solution here is to just give up Veggie Tales.

Or to win the entire collection. Then we can just ruin/lose/redecorate our own DVD’s.
