Like you said, it's a much easier transition and she doesn't fuss over it because she knows that I told her ahead of time. She's alittle young for the warning about finishing up play time and transitioning to nap time, but I'll definitely have to remember that one for when the time comes. Right now, I ask her if she's ready for her nap and she runs to the rocking chair for me to rock her! I use the “Last One” technique with my Baby Dear, 16 months.
